As I was heading out of the club tonight, I heard an old friend singing over my head on the club speakers, and I had to smile and sit down for a second and remember listening to her sing the songs live. “Flyer” and “Time of Inconvenience” and “Hard Life”….tumbling out of the speakers, all around me.
